About Jan:
Jan has been a REALTOR® since 2002 and has 3 certifications for high performance homes: Certified EcoBroker (2008); NAR GREEN (2014); and Master Certification High Performance Homes (2022).
She is a volunteer and past committee chair for the US Green Building Council (USGBC), Arizona Chapter (since 2009) and a past Director & Current Instructor for the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS®.
She is a Public Speaker at builder and national trade conferences (EEBA, RESNET, NAR), realtor associations, title companies in and around the Phoenix Metro Area. She has also spoken nationally for realtor associations, the National Association of Realtors and various trade organizations.
She is the Sustainable Advisor for Monte de Globe, Marigold Village, which is a to be built 58 acre multi-family, mixed use, 300 key hotel, and 110 single family residences in Globe, Arizona.
Her current home is the first Pearl Gold Certified home in Arizona (2018) and is now Pearl Solar Certified. Her home is a Net Zero remodel, starting with a HERS 174, to 65 and recently earning a 10!
Jan has earned the RE/MAX Above the Crowd award for community advocacy in 2012; the first Volunteer of the Year Award for USGBC 2013; Volunteer Award from National Awakenings Magazine 2014; and earned the “Evergreen” award from the National Association of REALTORS in 2022. Jan is also a Trip R Certified business with Stardust Building Supplies.
In her spare time, she travels to visit her 3 daughters in Alabama, Iowa and Texas and their families including 11 grandchildren!
