Join us on March 14 at the Old Spaghetti Factory, 1418 N. Central Ave., Phoenix for a CoAA Dinner/Meeting. This meetings speaker (Michael Orcutt) will discuss ways to limit your exposure and what to do once a claim arrives or is threatened.
Michael Orcutt is an experienced commercial litigator with a particular emphasis on real estate, construction, and insurance matters, who has successfully tried more than one dozen jury and bench trials to verdict for his clients. Michael’s professional liability practice has included the representation of architects, engineers, attorneys, appraisers, and real estate and insurance brokers throughout the State of Arizona. In addition, he has successfully defended numerous appeals through the Arizona Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Michael has also written a number of published articles and is the co-author of the Real Estate Broker Liability chapter of the Arizona Tort Law Handbook published by the State Bar. Michael received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Barrett Honors College, Arizona State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Following undergraduate studies, Michael obtained his law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Social hour is from 5-6 p.m. The meeting is from 6-8 p.m. The meal options are lasagna, spaghetti, or caeser salad. The meal comes with bread and ice cream dessert. The fee for dinner $20.
