CoAA Dinner/Meeting - March 27 at Aunt Chiladas

Join us on March 27 at Aunt Chilada's in Tempe. Our speakers will be from the Arizona DFI (Department of Financial Institutions). The speakers for this meeting will be staff investigators who will discuss complaint statistics and procedures.

The speakers are:

• Kelly Luteijn has a Bachelors of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She is a Certified Residential Appraiser who began her career in Chicago in 1991, following in her father (John Smith)'s footsteps. After leaving Chicago, she had a stint as a crew member circumnavigating the globe on a private yacht, during which she met and married her Dutch husband, Richard. After spending a year in Colorado, where Finn was born, the family relocated to Arizona in 2005

• Linda Beatty graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Failing to secure a position in her chosen field, she was persuaded to consider real estate appraisal. She began her appraisal career in 1987. Following a 2-year position writing appraisals for a mortgage company, Linda was hired by First Interstate Bank as a commercial review appraiser. During her 7 years with First Interstate, she was exposed to every type of commercial appraisal assignment and completed all the educational requirements towards the Appraisal Institute’s MAI designation. In 1997, she and her husband started their own company providing both commercial and residential appraisal services. As an independent fee appraiser, she contracted with the Board of Appraisal in 2000 to be one of approximately 12 complaint investigators. In 2012, she was offered a position as the full-time investigator for the Board and has been in that role ever since.
  

The social hour is from 5-6 and the meeting is from 6-8.

There is no fee to attend the meeting.  There is a $25 cost if you plan to join us for the buffet dinner.
